John sat at a Desk. Sitting at a Desk was rather a novelty for him. He usually was out patrolling the city, and checking up on things. But he was getting older, and he wanted to stay in the King's Army, so here he was. John was a slender muscular man, about 5'8. His black hair was begininng to gray, but his jaw was knotted with determination, something age would never take away.
Joining the army was really a good job. The army of Fort Hutcher mainly patrolled the city, rounding up trouble, checking up on citizens, and defending the city when it was under attack or during a war. John looked up at the door hoping for another recruit.

A noble looking man with a neatly trimmed red beard walked in. "Is this where we sign up to serve your King in any capacity?" he said with a slight Irish accent. "If you need any references you should ask the King of England, Scotland and Ireland....I have been in his employ as a Spy, soldier and defender of the royal wines...he's a personal friend of mine infact. Will your king be needing anyone of my nature, my man?" he said happily.

John immedialty went alert and at attention. Of course they would take him, they needed recruits. And with a resume like that, John almost jumped out of his chair. The King of England himself!
"No sir, that won't be neccesarry. I'm assuming you already have training then. Well, um, just sign here . . " John was fumbling through papers hurridly, pulling them out on top of the desk with a pen as well. "Sign here, and that'd be great. Then we'll get you your equipment, and give you your first orders-erh, mission. You'll probably be working as a spy we've got quite a need for those." Besides, Irish Accents always seemed to calm down people . . . Irish people always made the best of spies.

"I'll have to read the formes first,,," he laughed picking up the page "The last time I signed anything, I was told it was the role for eunich in Arabia...I only just escaped in my entirety...I should always read things carefully" he signed his name and handed it back. "And there you go!" he said cheerfully "Atleats i have employment now I need a place to stay"...he walked towards the door.

John nodded. "Yes sir! The neighborhood is a great place to start. You'll be paid 500 coins for a mission . . . what you just signed there is a form that states you're in the King's Service, and so your conduct must be somewhat orderly." He laughed, and continued. "There are quite a few traitors who live in this city . . . and we need you to expose them for what they are. Once you give us your address, we'll send someone over to your home to alert you of the new mission. I'm sure my Superior has quite a few he needs you to do." John waved goodbye and went back to his work at his desk.

"Thank you, and don't worry I have had a great deal of contact with traitors...I am from a bad part of Ireland...It's not like it was!" he said sadly "Well I'm off...I don't have a home yet but I'm sure you'll find out..." he laughed, and left.

John smiled. The army had a way of finding out these things . . .

OOC: Could Marcos get a job patrolling the streets, and such? I think it'd be fun to walk around the Neighborhood, and town . . . you know? IC:
Marcos entered the office . . .he looked around, and saw John. "Hello sir, I would like to sign up for the army. I personally would like to work in town, you know, patrolling the streets, guarding the homes, keeping the peace-but it's your army, go ahead and assign me wherever you'd like." He smiled. "My name is Marcos. I'd like to start right-away if possible."
