HISTORY:
Eruraina Renna Wildmoon was quite normal in her young age, born in the Elven city of Ktaphos. Between the ages of 6 and 17, she was Disconnected from her Father and mother, due to them never really being there. In fact you can say she was neglected as a child. At 18, she joined the Dark Elven military, but never showed very many characteristics of a soldier. At 19, still in active military service, she received a deep gash on her right leg, which would remain there for the rest of her natural life. Later that year, she had resigned, after being dishonorable discharged in the short career of a year and a half. She would then join a cult known as 'the dark cult'.
After being found out she along with other member were exiled from the city, forced to live alone Underdark until there death.
Naturally, Eruraina had no intentions of roaming Underdark until a displacer beast or hook horror found her and finished her off. She decided to lead her cult to brave the surface, choosing to brave that hellish orb of fire called the sun rather than the wild predators of Underdark. Finding there way to the surface,Eruraina spent the next 2 years adapting her eyes to the horrid light, though most members of her cult couldn't handle the burning and such travailing back to Underdark. She would then try to get to some sort of civilization. Since she didn’t realize that she was about as far south of the city as was possible without reaching the Great Sea, she didn‘t go east, in which case she would‘ve found a empire very quickly. Instead, she went north, where she would have to travel miles on foot.
After nearly a year, she ended up in a city called Lesser Carme. After that she roamed about, unsure of what to do next, being a restless woman. 3 years after he came to the surface world, he stumbled upon ruins of Thegrias a once victories city not that she would know that. At the time, several warlocks had been living there. Mistaking her for an enemy of theirs, they attacked. Eruraina struggled for a few seconds, trying to defend against very painful spells she continued to be hit by, until hers pain unlocked a dormant power within her, and she began to let out random, uncontrolled bursts of negative energy, which instantly killed those it came into contact with. The warlocks took her in when she was calmed, then tried to train her to use her magic in a more controlled manner, desiring a powerful ally such as Eruraina. Was this her chance to restore a cult she once knew?
Eventually, after the accidental deaths of 8 of the tribe of warlocks, and 6 years, she learned how to control her energy. By now, she wasn’t restless: She was power mad. Killing the entire tribe with the massive amount of energy she had, Eruraina forgot that she had limits. After killing the tribe and heading out of the ruin, she collapsed of fatigue. Waking up, she came up with a plan to give her more power: she would use her massive magical abilities to enhance her skills and strength even further, permanently. Though she succeeded in that, her mind, magical talents, and physical strength having been greatly enhanced, there was an unforeseen side effect due to ers tampering with the inner workings of her body ignorantly: Eruraina was completely insane, as well as power mad.She continued on like this until the age of 92, when she became sane, because of a physical reaction her body had to a poisonous gas released into the air, inside a castle she had stumbled into.
Almost instantly afterwards, however, Eruraina was impaled by a blackguard she’d gotten on the wrong side of, Claudius Belmort II, and left for dead in the castle. She lay there, for several days, unconscious, until she awoke, and discovered the castle she had been in to have collapsed. Starving to death and far from any other edible substance,Eruraina was forced to eat several rats in the castle ruins. The second she took a bite from the first rat, the life as she knew it began to end, because the rats in the castle had been infected with Bubonic Plague. Several more days passed, and over the course of those days, symptoms of the plague manifested, as she started to have terrible headaches and fever, even having several seizures. Then, a few more days later, black growths appeared on her body, and she realized her sickness for what it was. Fearing death immensely, Eruraina began to use her knowledge of necromancy to achieve a antidote. After a month, she succeeded in this.
Eruraina left Visha right after this not wanting to be victim of this disease again 93, then found an abandoned tower made of some odd, rusty-looking metal, but that was far from weak and brittle. He entered it, and found that it was completely furnished, and very nicely furnished indeed. The tower was empty, but he found a great library in it, and found a book just lying around, that detailed some magical artifact that was said to give the wielder the gift of knowledge and power, then disappear forever. Naturally, Eruraina quickly became hell-bent on getting the artifact, which was called the ‘Tome of Black Wisdom’. She traveled back to Visha’s capital, Kylarce, and signed on with a pirate hunting ship, after learning that the Tome of Black Wisdom was last seen with a pirate captain, who apparently had been in possession of the Tome for years, always too afraid to even open it.
Eruraina was with the pirate hunting vessel, Ration, for 5 years, at which point the finally stumbled upon the Tome of Black Wisdom in the possession of a pirate captain, just like she’d heard. Eruraina opened the book and perused it’s pages, insisting on remaining to read it before they left the charred, fractured ship to the depths. With each page she read, her mind and body became even more full of evil energies, nearly overwhelming her at one point. Finally, unable to read any more of the impossibly powerful book after merely 12 pages, Eruraina was forced to leave and bring it with her. However, her mind was in a daze from the overwhelming power and knowledge she had gained far too quickly, and because she was in that state, she closed the book, forgetting it would disappear. When she closed the book, it disappeared completely, leaving Eruraina with but a fraction of the power she could have obtained had she persevered throughout the entire book. Furious,Eruraina put his new found power to the test, slaughtering the men and women she had worked with for the past several years, but felt no kinship to.
At the age of 98, Eruraina got back to Visha, and returned to the ancient wizards tower he had found near Visha. However, it was far from abandoned, as she found a strange dark Elf there, who’s name she learned to be Lord Hiktor. After a short conversation, Eruraina figured out, both by Hiktor’s aura and the things he said and the way he said them, that Hiktor had to have been more ancient than Carme itself. Eruraina convinced Hiktor to teach him what he knew of necromancy, since Hiktor seemed to see some of himself in Eruraina, thus respecting him a fair amount. For 3 years, Hiktor taught him many secrets of necromancy, until Hiktor was killed by two soldiers, one nearly as skilled as Hiktor with a blade, the other luckier than most would believe possible for mortals. Eruraina felt a bit of spite for the two, Yagotha and Shakiree, but was smart enough to realize that even if she could kill 2 people who could best Hiktor, there was little pragmatic reason for it. Thus, she simply went on her way. 2 years later, Eruraina learned of a magical alchemical substance, known as Dion’s Blood, and after another year of study about this rare and powerful substance, Eruraina decided to go after it, and she learned that a grumpy old enchanter named Tzrami was going after it. Eruraina viewed Tzrami as her ticket to Dion’s Blood, and swiftly went to find Tzrami.
Eruraina quickly tracked down Tzrami, who disapproved of her methods and goals greatly. Eruraina couldn't garner any information from Tzrami other than the fact that someone named Ules Felko had been retrieving it for Tzrami in exchange for information regarding Ethayarajan's Will. Eruraina, who just happened to know how to find the artifact, got Tzrami to follow her out of the city, then kill him (though as she left a minion to do it, Tzrami managed to survive). She then teleported ahead to where Ules was going to retrieve it, arriving far before Ules did. She convinced Ules to aid him instead of Tzrami, and after a series of confusing events, Eruraina led Ules to someone else, who in turn took him to Ethayarajan's Will. Meanwhile, Eruraina had obtained Dion's Blood - she studied it for a fairly long amount of time, even throughout much of the Diabolos War. Eventually he figured out all of it's properties, and magically infused the liquid with his body, greatly increasing his power. Afterwards, Eruraina stumbled upon a cleric of Hex by the name of Kray Deifkra. Although Kray had a very powerful artifact, Hex's Gauntlet, Eruraina knew of something else he wanted that Kray had - several necromantic tomes relating to various topics. Eruraina convinced Kray he could be a valuable ally, and began to study them. She soon finished, having learned a fair amount, and began searching for a way to leave without invoking Kray's wrath.
Eruraina soon discovered that several people were coming after Kray to kill him and take Hex’s Gauntlet, including Ules, who Eruraina had met in the past, and of all people, Hiktor - who Eruraina had thought to be dead. Knowing full well that Ules and Hiktor alone would probably slaughter Kray and his minions, Eruraina decided to join them at the last minute, betraying Kray. They succeeded in killing Kray, and Hiktor got his hands on Hex’s Gauntlet.
Now Eruraina Remains in the shadows. Eruraina Had resently entered the city witch she has taken up residence in.
