Hello all! As many of you probably know, I was accepting applications for new staff positions here. All of the applicants were extremely qualified, so I decided not to accept all 3 with different positions. Administrator:Kiara BoulivierreGlobal Moderator:Leo PetersonModerator:Aqua AmariaCongratulations to the New Staff of Medieval Roleplay! I'm opening up a Staff Forum to allow the moderators to discuss their ideas for the forum and its direction.

is there a way I could get involved as well? I'm the administrator for one site and a mod on another. I could really help this place out should you want a boost and someone who is very active

thanks! *Goes to find many stories to get involved in* hehe ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ok, well I've posted in many places that no one had posted in. They either had one or zero replies. I tried to revive as many as I could. Hopefully, others will respond to me. I will continue to post in as much as possible when I return, for the moment I'm going to run errands. :) Enjoy!

Woah now, hold your horses. It may look like there's a lot of people here, but that's because there's too much clutter. Nowadays, theres only four members active, you making the fifth. As your first action as moderator, you need to clear away all the old threads with one post and make the way for our now much smaller community to live in. Heck, if you need to, delete sub-forums since we can't post in them all at once. The only way to revive this forum is to start clean.
I'm sorry, but all you've done is added a new layer of clutter on top of threads started by people who didn't have the guts to see this place through.
Besides, now I have to file through all those "NEW" signs to make sure I didn't miss anything important. This could take awhile........

I would of course clean things up, but for now I would have to wait to see what the administrator says. I don't want to change anything on his site and then get in trouble for it later. If he says it's alright, I'll start getting rid of the "clutter" that is bothering you so that we can start over. I only have so much power as a moderator. As for checking your files, look at your bookmarked places and that will help you. I'm sorry if I've made things messier. I hope things get resolved soon.

These are just suggestions. I don't claim to be absolutely sure it will work.
I've also been looking through the threads you posted in. It appears you did not post in as many threads as I thought you did. I was really only worried about the threads where the person had already given up and left the forum which would have been bring back to life unneeded threads.

ahh. I see. Well, it's alright, I only posted in about 7 or 8 other places. Trying to post in the most recent ones that no one has responded to. One of which I believe is yours. I do hope I can do what I can to get this place running again. As for deleting old threads, I hope that this issue will be responded to quickly. Is there anything else you're concerned about that I can help with?

I think we need to also clear up the members, and delete users who have been inactive for 6 months. It says there's over 200 members, and there isn't even over 10 active members. Slim the numbers a bit actually. Having large numbers and a small area for the whole MR community makes it seem extremely inactive and kinda abandoned.

I wish I could, but seeing as I'm only a moderator I can't do that yet, unless the administrator gives me the power. If not this place would be spotless

I'm ready to help because I seriously like roleplay, and I like to help! (Good combination!) I'm willing to do anything, just tell me!
