Adelina walked wearily into the tavern. It had been a very long ride from her last stop and, frankly, she just needed to sit down and rest for a little while. She claimed a chair near the window so she could watch the people passing by. "This seems like such a nice town," Adelina thought. "Much better than that dump of a last one, ugh. Maybe I'll stay here for a while...." Just then she was interrupted......

I saw another female sitting near a window seat drinking a drink. She seemed safe. She feeled she might need to talk to an actual human for once. She kept her distance from her kind. I walked up to her, "I haven't seen you in these parts."

OOC: (Out of Character): Great, a good Bar conversation. Red will be milling around in the background if you don't mind! IC: (In Character:) Red noticed the young woman and shortly after the young woman after her. The two seemed to be aqquaintances, or at least they were speaking. The young lady seemed new . . . not foreign, just new. The second one approaching her seemed to be somewhat familiar . . though he couldn't say he knew her. No, they had never met, perhaps he had seen her walking into town, or amoung the streets somewhere . . . no, he knew neither of the people. Yet, business, any business, was very welcome. Although both of them were talking, he knew that if they came to the Tavern once, they'd probably come again, in which case, they might buy a drink or bite to eat. Besides, he thought, he loved the people, customers or not, he simply loved the company. He smiled at the two, nodded his head at them, as if to say, "Stay as long as you like, you two are very welcome here." EDIT: Sorry about the gender confusion! I edited my post.

(I'm a girl just so you know, my post was a bit confusing lol.)
I glanced back and saw a male walk into the tavern. I saw a blade attached to his hip, he didn't smell right. I sat in the same booth as the other girl and watched the male.

The door opened and in came a tall man wearing a travellers cape with hood up. "Ahh, barman a glass of your finest ale...and what would all these other fine people want?" he looked around the room happily "Drinks are on me!". He put aome coins on the table, took his ale and sat down by a fireplace.

Red noticed the business and took to serving the people right away, he approached Laon, though he seemed a bit laid-back, and decided to ask him what he would like to drink. But before he could speak, another man entered exclaiming that the drinks were on him.
Red looked down at the coins. "Very thoughful of you sir. I'm sure these nice people would appreciate a drink or two." He waved them over. Filling Bernard's drink first, he slid him the ale. "Assuming you all get yourselfs a glass of ale, that'll be 8 coins sir." He filled up 3 other glasses of ale, filling them up to the brim and then cutting the keg off, with expertise that only comes with age. He slid them across the table. He wasn't sure if the ladies would drink or not, be he was sure that he could finish them if the ladies weren't going to. He picked up 8 coins off the table, and smiled at Bernard.
"I can tell you're a hearty young fellow. Rather nice of you, I don't believe we've met."

She had come from the market place from a bit of looking around and had decided to come here for something to eat. Streching a bit she pushed open the door and walked in silently, keeping to herself and making sure her body lanuage said to leave her be.

Red noticed the 5th customer, and it seemed as though she wasn't interested in much socialization. He shrugged. It was his tavern, he'd talk to the customers if he'd like. Yet-he didn't want his customers to leave. He decided to strike up a conversation-maybe he could offer her something.
"Hello miss! You just misses a wonder of a deal-this fine fellow over here, he gestured to the stranger next to him, (Bernard), just gave everyone a free drink, on him." Red noticed she wasn't taking this very well. "Tell you what, how about I throw in a free drink with any meal you buy today! Quite the deal, if I do say so myself. He smiled at her, ready to take a possible order, and perhaps meet the stranger who had just given all these people free ales.

OOC: Sorry Laon! I thought that he just wanted a drink . . . lol . . IC:
Call: Yes Miss! A salad . . . and a free drink! How about my speciality? Trust me . . . you'll love it . . . He winked and went back into the kicthen, only to reappear just as quickly with His speciality drink and a fresh tossed salad. That will be 1 coin miss. You may pay when you're done with your food and drink." He smiled and went over to see Bernard.
Bernard: Irish, sir? Why yes in fact! My stars, another Irishman right here in me own bar! I knew yea were Irish right from the start! Only a true Irishman would be so thoughtful as to give drinks on the house . . . my stars! Well, tis truly a pleasure to meet you Bernard! It really is. Feel free to come back any time, but I must helping out another customer. . . seems I have forgotten him.[/b] He winked, and walked over to Laon.
Laon: Sir! You must forgive me! I noticed you wave and-well, I was going to serve you, however I thought you merely wanted a drink, so when that fine fellow Bernard over there offered the whole house drinks, I figured you'd have your fill. But I was wrong, terribly sorry. He slid Bernard's free ale over to Laon, and sighed. "Allow me to make it up to you sir, but any meal today, and the drink will be free, including refills." This was the second time tonight! He sighed to himself-his customers would all be gone by tommorow at this rate! What can I get yah sir? Anything at all? It'd be my pleasure." He smiled at Laon, hoping he'd forgive his forgetfulness.

She nodded a bit and slowly began to eat, taking only a few drinks at a time, not really much of a drinker.

Bertrand cheered "Thats the luck of the Irish my friend, to find fellow country men even in the bleakest parts!". He went and sat near Calla "And what brings a fine lady here?" he asked her.
