Hello all! As you can see, I am back for a bit. I actually had completely forgotten about this website-I created it over 2 years ago. But I found it again randomly through a Google Search! I barely recognized it as my own. And to my ultimate surprise, I found it to be a burgeoning, growing community!
Imagine my thrill! How many moderators can leave their dying forums for 2 years, and come back to an active, thrilling site? Not many. I certainly was excited to Moderate it again-but then I remembered-I don't have the time to!
But one of you does. I am going to take applicants on this sheet. And I don't want my Forum to go down the drain anymore, so there are a few rules for those applying for the job:
Requirements:
1) You must be a member of Medieval Roleplay. (duh)
2) You must agree to stay an active Moderator, or find someone trustworthy to replace you.
Job Description:
Being a Full-Time Administrator, is, well, full time! You can hire others to help you out, but the bottom line is that you are responsible for the site, and whatever happens to it.
By the way, if you love this kind of stuff, (and you probably do because you're here), then this could be the time of your life!
Money:
-Each member receives 10 coins per post. They can chose to buy things, however we will obviously remove that amount of money from their profile! You can edit a person's coins by Modifying their profile.
Thread Moderation:
-Basically, people want to Roleplay, right? So If they post a new thread, go ahead and make a fake character to help them RP. When I say Fake, I mean like Red at the White Stallion, or perhaps Marlin at the Weapon's Shoppee. You know what I mean. Note: Admins are the only people with the power to create "fake characters- or characters who interact only in one thread to assist others.
Transition Changes:
As I am busy, I won't be able to moderate Medieval Roleplay once you take over. That means YOU call the shots. You won't ask me for questions, just decide on your own. You can use the current Rules Threads that I have already started as a guide. Pretty much anything goes. Just moderate according to the member's needs. Edit their money when they buy an item. Hire others to help you. And Enjoy yourself.
Now Accepting Applicants.
Note: If more than one qualified applicant desires the job, there is no reason why the Chosen Admin couldn't select others for GMods or Mods.
Application:
Real First Name:
Age:
Experience with Role playing:
Why would you make a Good Admin/What you would bring to the Community:
Experience with Proboards/Administrative Powers:
Short Paragraph displaying Roleplaying or a Link to previous Roleplay:
A Final Note:
I will no longer be in charge of moderating the roleplay...rather more of the technical aspects of the site- coding, image glitches etc. Of course I would not update any major coding or graphics changes without a vote in the Moderator's Board, (sorry, only seen by mods!) but I will still be around to help-technically, with affiliates codes, maintaining the skin, etc . So I will still be here.
Thank you for applying!
