i was still pouring rain and freezing cold out. Elizabeth was stumbling about the trees trying to find somewhere to go, in the forest the rain didn't fall through the trees much, so the only real rain on her was from before she found this salvation, that, and the tears streaming dowm her face from being humiliated. 'oh why didnt' I just stay home!?' she started to think aloud, 'It wasn't so bad, at least I had shelter and someone who cared about me there!' she paused adn began to think about the tavern ' at least I didnt' swoon over guys in armor only to be humiliated in front of his girlfriend threre....oh I'm such a fool!' Elizabeth then found a log on the ground and sat on it, she didn't really mind if her clothes were ruined, it's not like they were worth much. Besides, they were already wet. That made Elizabeth started to cry even more, she hadn't brought any other clothes with her when she left her kingdom, this was all she had. she didn't even know if she'd get the money to buy clothes that didn't look like raggs. She wasn't good for much, all she knew how to do was clean up after a lazy power ridden king, and run...run from everything....She never stuck things out. 'why didnt' I just stay home and claim my rightful place as queen, I'm old enough now, Uncle Henry couldn't refuse her, he would at least make her princess since they had no children. But this thought made her feel even worse. Her uncle probably would have killed her just like he did her parents. If he didnt' mind killing his own brother he wouldnt' care about his neice. Why, he almost had her head for just bumping into him, No, staying where she used to live would have done no good, ' I guess leaving was the only good thing to do...' she started to say ' but I'm not wanted here either.... I guess I'll never find someplace I can call home...' After saying this she put her head on her knees and began to cry. The cold didnt' really even bother her anymore, she had become immune to it by now. 'maybe someday I'll become immune to being hurt as well' she said thinking of how many wrong turns her life has taken, and how many are bound to be in her tracks throughout the rest of it.......

The Black Knight had told Ashlee, that he was going to find Elizabeth telling her. That she could have his room, if she wished it. At least it would be a dry place & she would be safer there then out in the cold. or not. He would not force her, but he would offer her the chance to come back.
He found out quickly that she had left the tavern, he quickly moved out the door to find her if he could. For it was getting colder out & was not the weather to be out in.
The Black Knight was not far behind her, he had quickly moved to the stables to grab his horse. He did not bother with a saddle, he only brindled his stallion & place a blanket like cloak that was magic & would keep his black stallion dry. He the quickly go on to his stallions back, as he rode off to find Elizabeth.
He quickly moved into the rain that was turning quickly into nothing but snow. He could just make out her form, going into the trees. He moved into the trees behind her, once he found her he spoke.
"Let me give you a ride, back to the tavern. It is safer & it is dryer as well, you can have my room. I will be fine with out it, for I can get another." He held out his hand as he waited to see if she wished to come back

Still crying, Elizabeth started to feel the cold. How she wished she had a coat, or something more that a rag. Then from behind, Elizabeth heard someone talking to her. She jumped! when she looked back at him, she realized that it had started to snow. It was the black knight. ' w, why did you come back for me?'

At her words he did not relay know what to say. But he could only speak what came to mind. "My honor & compassion would not let me, leave you out in this cold. It is only getting colder & it will become very deadly before it is over. Come back with me it is at least warm & safe with in the tavern."

she listened to his words....' well, are you just asking me because you feel sorry for me, or because you actually want me to go?' She felt so stupid for asking, she should have just kept her mouth closed!

At her question he could only answer "I would not be here, if I did not wish you to come back. But I will not force you or drag you back. You must make the choose & I must honor your wishes." He quietly waited to see what she said next, by being out he was putting him self as well as his horse in danger from the cold. But he would wait for her to choose & then then he would honor her wishes what ever they might be.

Elizabeth looked at him for a while in confusion........then finally made her decision, ' it is getting rather cold out......I, I guess I will come with you, but I do not want to put you in an awkward position......' She then got up from standing on the log and began to walk closer to the knight

He watched as she approached, he held out his hand to her. As he waited for her to take it so that he might help her, on to his horse. But he also waited to see if she would take his hand or if she still was thinking on the mater. At her words he shook his head "You are not"

Glad to hear that she wasn't a burden on this man, she grabed his hand and climbed onto his horse. ' Thank you, I'm sorry I've been so troublesom to you.' She was angry at herself, all she had done was become a damzel in destress.

At he words he nodded, before he spoke. "Your welcome" Once she was seated, he turned his horse to return to the tavern. He could feel his body was cold & stiff from being with out sleep & out in the cold. But he would hold off on scum to the want for sleep & warmth tell he was where he knew he was safe from being found out.

Elizabeth was getting really cold. She held onto the knight to try to keep herself warm, but his armor was cold as well. She reached down to try to wrap her skirt around her legs, but when she did Elizabeth noticed that her skirt was frozen in place. It had to be belo freezing, maybe even below zero decreas. She looked out twards where they were heading but couldn't see but a few feet in front of her as too the snow. She just prayed that they'd get to the tavern soon.

The tavern came finally into sight, he finally got to the tavern stable. He then claimed off his horse, he then turned to help Elizabeth down. He then handed her the key to his room, that he would not be using. He then tended to his horse, before turning to Elizabeth. He then turned to move into the warm tavern.

When They finally reached the tavern the knight helped her off the horse. When she reached the ground the snow was almost up to her knees. It was so cold and hard to trudge through the snow. when she finally got into the tavern she went straight to the fire place and tried to warm up.

He watched as Elizabeth left, to go into the tavern. He got done with what he was doing, before he moved to move into the tavern. He felt good to be where it was warm.
